The weather was pretty wild last night with the rain and then came snow with extreme north pole wind chill blown down, you know that it will be lots of workout in the morning to get your car ready for the road traditionally! However if you live in extreme weather swings like Chicago, I like to show you ways that can defrost your car faster and easier without much of work the unusual way! ;)
Well, this morning(9 F, wind chill -10 F), most cars are very likely to be STONE COLD covered windshield with icy door edges that is tough to open! Now, if that is the case, don't panic! The last thing is to hurt yourself by trying to out muscle the icy shut door. First if driver side door is close shut, try other doors to see if you can get in, but if none of doors can open, then go back to your home and rinse a towel with hot water and dry it. Go back to the car and start caressing/massaging around the driver side door edge from top to bottom, if the ice is not too thick, you will start to hear cracking sound which means that ice is getting thinner and more likely to break for the door open!:)
So once you can get into the car, start warming up the car by cranking up the engine, so step on it couple times to rev up the engine for it to warm up faster! In less than 2 minutes, turn defrost on and full blown hottest heat your car allow into front windshield. While the car heat up naturally, if you like to make the defrost even faster, try to pour some anti-freeze fluid over the windshields(if outdoor temperature is not less than -10 F) and get back into the car to continue cranking the car into high revs! 5-6 minutes into this, you will soon seeing ice start to crack and even smokes start to appear near the bottom of windshield. Continue to keep yourself warm and relax(dwelling over some vocal trance ;)) as icy windshields start liquidized...8 minutes into this, you are on your way safely onto road without even touching ice scraper and possible frostbites and injury! :)
So with the inspiration, came with appreciation for another great vocal trance classic from Bossanova - Stonecold! Just remember, when your car is STONECOLD, the last thing that you should do is to fight it! Use your car as your best friend to help warm that car up fast without all the needless hard scrapping!
